Michelle Sariev, NP-C
Michelle is excited to join Ponce Primary Care as our newest primary care provider. She has been practicing in Atlanta as a nurse and then nurse practitioner since 2006. Michelle received her Master’s in Nursing from Georgia State University in 2012 and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to her graduate degree work she obtained Bachelor degrees in both Nursing (Emory University) and English Literature (University of Georgia). She moved to Decatur from Athens, GA in 1997.
Michelle’s areas of interest include preventive medicine & wellness, gender affirming care/transgender care, and HIV prevention and treatment. Michelle is a staunch advocate for eliminating disparities in LGBTQ health care. She is a regular guest speaker at Emory’s School of Nursing and is part of The Health Initiative’s Georgia LGBTQ Health Collaborative Steering Committee.
Michelle spends her free time traveling, writing, and exploring the neighborhoods of Atlanta on her bike. She now lives in Reynoldstown with her husband and 2 rescue dogs. We are excited to welcome her to our team.
